The brief for this project was to replace the small conservatory and study extension to the rear of the property and create a cohesive open plan kitchen/dining that would make better use of the space and allow more light into the existing parts of the house.
Conservatories being cold in the winter, hot in the summer and noisy when it rains are ill-suited to providing quality living spaces. This project provided a large insulated space that could be used all year round. The new space created now becomes the principle entertaining space which, with bi-folding doors, can be opened up to the garden to provide indoor/outdoor living. |
