The brief for this project was to redesign the entire house which focused on opening up the rear of the house and extending with a single storey rear extension. The existing property looked extremely tired, had issues with drainage and had not been touched for decades. Therefore the project involved extensive internal layout changes to the ground and first floor, adding in new flooring and underfloor heating throughout. The separate kitchen and dining room were knocked through together and then extended. A large roof lantern and sliding doors were used to bring in large amounts of natural light flooding a new entertainment space.
