Council: Hart District Project Size: 3390sqft
The project brief was to overhaul the outdated interior of the existing property and create a modern open kitchen/dining room to the centre of the house.
The unsuitable sloping roof to the existing single storey rear extension and conservatory were removed and replaced with a new flat roof with two large lanterns to bring the maximum amount of natural light into the dining room and drawing room as possible. The existing property had been extended from a cottage and so the internal spaces did not work for a contemporary family home.
The existing ground floor was opened up and a new double height entrance hall added to create a grand entrance suitable for the size of the property.
Most of the layout at first floor was reconfigured to create additional ensuites and bring in more natural light to the landing and bedrooms.
