The project brief was to create a new living space suitable for a growing family in a property that had limited existing space.
With a small existing ground floor, a single storey rear extension was proposed to create a new family room that would open up onto the garden. The existing living/dining room within the existing part of the house would then become the dining room.
A wood burner was included as a feature and focus to the room as well providing a heat source during the winter months.
